NEWWAVE COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY FUNDAMENTALS SR183
This course will provide students the knowledge and background needed
in order to sell HP's computer solutions in the 1990s, by explaining
the concepts and technology that make NewWave Computing possible and
Open Systems desirable.
STUDENT PROFILE:
CSO sales representatives, sales management and PSO consultants
worldwide.
PREREQUISITES:
None
STUDENT PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
o Label and define the core concepts and terms that comprise
NewWave Computing.
o Match a customer benefit to each of the NewWave Computing
concepts and terms.
o Label and define the architectural concepts upon which the
NewWave Computing strategy is built.
o Identify the problem that each architectural concept solves.
o Identify the core NewWave Computing concepts highlighted in the
"NewWave Computing in 1990" customer demo videotape in order to
explain them to a customer.
o Position both current and future product offerings.
